Our World Mission

As God's body of believers in this location, we embrace the Great Commission as our own and we understand our responsibility to carry the gospel of Christ to the people of the world. A few of the ways we do this ...

   A portion of every Sunday's offering is forwarded to our state convention, where it is distributed to support the work of international missionaries, missionaries serving in North America, and our six Southern Baptist seminaries who train those going out to serve.
   Every other month, Grace serves lunch to the homeless families being served by Good News at Noon in Gainesville. 
   We actively engage in reaching our neighborhood for Christ through Forsyth Family Fest each year. 
   We love supporting the work of Operation Christmas Child, both in providing treat-filled shoeboxes for the children of the world, and by serving when possible at the distribution center for our area.
   Throughout the year, you will find Grace collecting special offerings for the World Hunger Fund, Disaster Relief Fund, and the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering for International Missions.
   Every summer, we reach out to our community with Vacation Bible School and other children's events, like Terrific Tuesdays, where the gospel is clearly communicated.
   Our mission team participates in mission trips in the United States and internationally and are praying about where the next summer will take them.
   The reason we find ourselves busy is that communicating the good news of Jesus is what we are all about. If you have not had an opportunity to know the Lord as Savior, we would be thrilled to introduce you!
